went to pick up his $210 soical assistance cheque at the Social
Assistance Office ($400 was sent directly to his landlord) on the
posh Robson Street for the coming month he was was ushered
to an office by a Gestapoish short white-haired off-the-wall passive
agressive woman and told that he would NO LONGER be getting
any social assistence, but be put on MENTAL DISABILITY and
that there was a psychiatrist in the next room there to see him
who'd look after that.
He refused REFUSED TO MEET THE PSYCHIATRIST WAITING
TO SEE HIM.
She informed him that he would NOT be getting
any social assistance
any more becasue THEY HAD *THE POWER* to do that and that
that
they are LEGALLY AUTHORIZED TO *ARBITARILY* REFUSE
ANYONE SOCIAL ASSISTANCE he was told point blank when he
retorted that it was illegal to do so.
He went to his Roman Catholic Bishop for help and was told the
Bishop will NOT get involved.
He's NOT surprised that an OVER-WEIGHT OVER-FED Catholic
clergy feels it has
better things to do (like EAT MORE) rather than
help the POOR or a political party whose aim
is to get rid of poverty
in Canada.
He believes the Vancouver Catholic Church "in good conscience"
is aiding and
abetting A CRIMINAL GOV'T like the Catholic Church
does in the rest
of the Americas and the rest
of Canada.
In fact, given what he saw daily in Eastside Vancouver, the
Vancouver
Catholic Church does precious
little for the poor, but wants to spend its
EXTRA MONEY
on beautify a DECREPIT
CATHERAL.
Go figure.

The Bishop *should know* that according to Section Three (3) of the
Canadian Charter of Rights and Liberties Canadians are
encouraged
to create and
promote political parties.
The Bishop "should also know" that according to Section
Seven (7)
the
Government promises to look after the security of
ALL* Canadians and
according to Section Twelve (12) promises to keep ALL!
Canaidians
free from cruel and
unusal punishment.

The BC Government's refusal of social assistance to the
President/Party
Leader of the Égalité Party of
Canada is contrary to the Canadian
Charter
of Rights and Liberties and constitutes criminal negligence
under TORT
LAW.
The Bishop "should know" this.
He strongly feels either the Biship is either AN IGNORAMUS
in these matters
or just plain INCOMPETENT as a *PASTOR*
and SHOULD BE REMOVED
FROM OFFICE and replaced with aa bishop that has A KEEN SOCIAL CON-
SCIENCE.
It's a BLACK! BLACK! DAY in Canadian political history
when BOTH the
Church and State OPPRESS A POLITICAL
LEADER WHO WANTS TO
HELP THE POOR.
It's A DAY OF SHAME FOR *ALL* CANADIANS.
When he went back to get the *OFFICIAL REASON* in writing
at 3:30
p.m., he
was told he would be given the letter confirming
their decision at
9:30 tomorrow
morning June 28th.
What's wrong with this picture?
Who else thinks this is a *fishty* POLICE STATE?
