I'll buy books for THE PLEASURE OF BUYING THEM
knowing full well  in my lifetime I'll never get to 
reading them now that I'm 71 years old.

Incidentally, when I was finally evicted from the shelter, 
I had BINS OF BOOKS under my bed + the bottom 2 
locker shelves were filled ... ONLY WITH books!

By the way, I LOVE BROWSING BOOKSTORES.

When I came to Toronto in 2007, ONE OF THE 1ST THINGS 
I CAME ACROSS WAS THE WORLD'S LARGEST BOOKSTORE:
I was in 7th HEAVEN - needless to say. :D

As a University of Ottawa student in the '70s, I reserved 
Thursday night for visiting the downtown bookstores
though I was PENNILESS. (Ha! Ha!)

I found just THE BROWSING did me A WORLD OF GOOD.
