English is THE MOST DIFFICULT LANGUAGE - by far ...
- BECAUSE IT IS THE "LEAST" PHONETIC +
- BECAUSE THE "VARIATION" IN THE CORRECT PRONUNCIATION 
  OF A SYLLABLE for no "apparent" reason. 

Then, there's THE PROBLEM of ...
- "silent" consonants + 
- "silent" vowels + 
- "unspelt" sounds like the "s" sound in "expect".

ALL THIS creates A PHONETIC HEADACHE when learning to 
"CORRECTLY" SPEAK ENGLISH, a diabolical language - indeed! :D
