SINCE THE FOUINDING of the Chinese Communist Party, Russia + China have "always"
been THE BEST OF FRIENDS. 

The CCP admiration of the Soviet Union was UNBOUNDED!

As a result, the Chinese GLADLY learned Russian - until the 1960s. 

I never knew HOW BEAUTIFUL the Russian language is until I heard a NORTH KOREAN 
(that I had the pleaure of meeting, here, in Toronto) speak 'perfect' Russian - 
with flair. 

SINCE THEN, I get the distinct impression that Russians  'unintentionally' 
massacre their maternal language when they speak Russian.(Ha! Ha!)
